Job Overview

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating scroll-stopping video content tailored for eCommerce brands across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other digital ad channels. You will collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to develop compelling product videos, ads, reels, testimonials, and storytelling creatives that boost engagement and sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit high-quality videos for ads, product showcases, UGC content, testimonials, and social media reels.
  • Create fast-paced, attention-grabbing video edits tailored for performance marketing.
  • Add motion graphics, transitions, text animations, sound effects, and colour grading to enhance video quality.
  • Collaborate with content creators, graphic designers, and marketing strategists to understand project requirements.
  • Repurpose raw footage into engaging videos optimised for different platforms.
  • Maintain consistency in brand style, tone, and messaging across all creative outputs.
  • Stay updated with current trends in eCommerce ads, short-form content, and digital storytelling.
  • Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in an eCommerce or digital marketing environment.
  • Strong proficiency in editing tools such as Capcut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
  • Experience with motion graphics (Adobe After Effects or similar) is a strong added advantage.
  • Ability to work with different content formats—product videos, lifestyle shots, unboxing videos, reels, ad creatives.
  • Understanding of social media trends, hooks, pacing, and performance-driven creative strategies.
  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics, visuals, and storytelling.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Skills Required

  • Creative mindset with strong storytelling ability.
  • Strong sense of timing, rhythm, and audio/video synchronisation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Basic knowledge of performance marketing creatives is a plus.
  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new tools and styles.
